Dried Logs in Gwynedd & Anglesey

Kiln dried firewood for sale including delivery available for the whole of Gwynedd and Anglesey, buy in bulk (30 Cubic metres) or 6 cubic metres (Large trailer). We deliver logs that hit 20% moisture content directly to you, this is the equivalent of 2 years seasoning. Smaller bags are available for local collection only, each bag contains ~10 Logs at 9.5 inches. Ideal for camping trips or weekend holidays/cottages. If you have a large trailer (2 cubic metres minimum) we will happily fill up your own Trailer at a discounted rate.

Planks / Boards

Selecting beautiful timber pieces, we run our large bandsaw down the middle slicing the wood into any thickness you want. The sides can be left for an amazing rustic finish or can be cut straight and then finished in our planer for a perfectly smooth surface.

Match old skirting boards

If you have an old property with skirting that need replacing, we might be able to match the pattern. Just give us a ring!

We kiln dry our wood chip and logs to higher than industry standards, this improves efficiency of the fuel translating to less energy being wasted from the burning wet or damp wood. We are so confident of the quality of our wood chip that we do not charge for our wood chip by weight, but by kWh. This offers reassurance and a guarantee on the quality of the product, removing the risk of getting less than what you pay for.

100% environmentally friendly

Wood, when correctly managed can be 100% sustainable and an environmentally friendly way to heat businesses and homes without any impact to the worlds natural resources. We do not import wood, unlike some other suppliers.. We pride ourselves in using local wood from ethically managed forestries with a 100% sustainability policy in place. Wood chip is a great way to help the local economy and help lower the reliance on fossil fuels whilst protecting the environment.

Poor vehicle access?

Not a problem! Delivery of our kiln dried wood chip to local areas in Gwynedd is done using a tractor trailer combo. This allows us to go where larger articulated vehicles often can not, including narrower lanes and off road locations. Height restrictions apply

Pellets

Currently we only sell 15kg sacks. These can be bought individually from our shop in Bryncir or we can deliver pallet quantities (78 bags).

The Renewable Heat Incentive

If your annual heating cost exceeds £6000.00, you should be looking at wood chip as a viable solution to reducing energy bills and protection from the rising costs of fossil fuels. Wood chip is a sustainable option for heating large properties and commercial premises. Using insulated pipes installed underground, multiple properties in close proximity can be heated from a single boiler.

The renewable heat incentive is available for commercial and domestic properties using approved boilers and BSL Authorised suppliers of wood chip, pellets or logs.

To claim the heat incentive, you must use fuel supplied by a BSL Registered supplier and you will be required to provide the registered number of the supplier as proof. Woodfuel-Gwynedd customers will find this number on our VAT receipts.
