We are strictly against cutting down hard wood trees as they take at least 50-60 years to grow back, sometimes over 100 years. However, there is no denying that hardwood burns well, especially once dried.

With the extreme storms we experienced this winter, a lot of hardwood trees got blown down and we are taking this as an opportunity to produce hard wood logs without any environmental impact, today we received our first batch of wind blown hard wood and will be processing the wood into 9.5 and 12″ logs over the next few weeks, this of course includes kiln drying to below 20% moisture content.
