We are delighted to announce that we have been selected by the Betsi Cadwaladi Health Board to supply Ysbyty Alltwen nr Porthmadog with our Kiln Dried Wood Chip.

The Hospital is heated from a single 800kw biomass boiler which will be supplied with our Kiln Dried Wood Chip directly from our base in Bryncir, just 6 miles away. The short distance is a key factor in keeping the environmental impact of the hospital to a minimum and for the long term success of Biomass fuel in the UK. All wood used to produce the chip is grown within a 20 mile radius of the hospital with a 100% sustainability policy in place, meaning the heating for Ysbyty Alltwen will be 100% Sustainable and 100% Locally Produced.

The first batch of Wood Chip will be delivered soon and we hope this will inspire others in the area to see biomass as a real viable alternative to dirty fossil fuels
