Just taken delivery our long awaited hook-lift trailer, we’ll be using this to move the 30 cubic metre skips in and out of the kiln.

Hook-lift trailers work by dragging the skip onto the trailer using high powered hydraulic arm with a hook, this allows much greater flexibility over a fixed size wagons as we can drop 1 skip off and pick up another I.e multiple deliveries in 1 day. It also allows us to lift up the front of the skip up to pour wood chip out the back, great for filling chip store bunkers!
