Behold our recently purchased 14 foot trailer which is designed to carry timber with an onboard crane, it allows us to load and unload without the need for a second vehicle.

For the past week, we’ve been putting it to the test by felling a small mature forest just a mile away from our biggest client near Porthmadog.  Due to the age of the forest it has become fragile and weak resulting in the trees becoming wind swept. To help the forest regenerate and reduce the local carbon footprint at the same time, we’ll use the trees to produce to wood chip for heating the local hospital situated approximately 1 mile away.  It’s better to use wood instead of letting it fall and decompose, by clearing away the old trees and brash the new space opens up and lets light in to encourage growth and life, and for the cycle begin again.
