Since December 2015, we have been supplying wood chip to Ysbyty Alltwen near Porthmadog, so far since the start we estimate the Co2 footprint to of the Hospital to have been reduced by nearly 500 tons! that’s approximately 80 tons per month.

The key to carbon reduction is to ensure the Co2 cycle is complete.  This means planting the same number of trees consumed during the process of manufacturing the fuel.  Woodfuel-Gwynedd only sources trees from forestries with a 100% sustainability program in place, and by kiln drying we maximise efficiency and reduce as much waste as possible.
